Document Your Design Process

VIDEO NOTES

  • You do NOT need to upgrade to a paid Asana account to create template projects. Instead, document your design process in Asana and then name it ‘TEMPLATE’. Then each time you start a new project with a client, click the three dots next to your ‘template’ project and click ‘Duplicate’.
  • Want to record your calls with your clients? You can video call and record them for free with Zoom! If you'd prefer to use Skype, you'll need to purchase an add-on like Ecamm Call Recorder to record your calls.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT

Document your design process inside Asana. When you’re done, name the project ‘Template: Brand & Web Design’. Create a template for every package you offer. (This is a lot easier if you sell packages instead of quoting per project, so I suggest creating 2-3 packages you can list on your website! Then create your Asana template projects.)

If you’d like to use the process outlined in this video, you can upload it DIRECTLY to your own Asana account.

Just download the process CSV file (link below). Then in Asana, click ‘Add Project’, ‘Import Tasks From Spreadsheets’, name the project and upload the CSV.
